SudoGu is a very powerful and easy to use generator, helper and solver for many Sudoku variants. It can generate puzzles in 7 difficulty levels with the possible extra constraint of generating symmetric puzzles. The program supports 79 solving techniques, including some techniques specific to some variants it supports. The program has a German and English (since version 3.9) user interface.
Supported Sudoku Variants:
- Classic Sudokus including size variations (12 variations)
- Wallpaper Sudoku
- Even-Odd
- Jigsaw Sudoku (predefined patterns, 30 patterns available)
- Sudoku-X
- Asterisk
- Center Dot
- Windoku
- Magic Sudoku (Explanation)
- Extra Region (predefined patterns, 30 patterns available)
- Killer Sudoku and Killer-X
- Greater Than
Additionally, for printing only, the following Sudoku variants can be generated:
- Circular Sudoku
- Overlapping grids (Samurai, Kazaguruma, Flower, Double Samourai (Gattai-8) and Clueless). The basic grids don't have to be standard Sudokus but can be variants themselves.
