A Skewed X-Wing is a X-Wing that is also a Skewed Fish. With other words it is a X-Wing in Sudoku Variants with diagonals where one or both strong links are on the diagonals.
A Skewed X-Wing is a special case of Triangular Connection.
Example 1
This example shows a Skewed X-Wing in a Sudoku-X with one strong link on a diagonal.
The X-Wing with candidate 1 is formed by the pink cell with respect to D\ and R6 because the yellow cells doesn't contain this candidate. We can conclude for the green cells that they can't have candidate 1.
Example 2
This example shows a Skewed X-Wing in a Sudoku-X with both strong links on intersecting diagonals. A Skewed X-Wing with both strong links on intersecting diagonals is also called an Hourglas X-Wing.
The X-Wing with candidate 1 is formed by the pink cell with respect to D/ and D\ because the yellow cells doesn't contain this candidate. We can conclude for the green cells that they can't have candidate 1.
