Xsudo comes in an easy and an advanced version. Given the easy version is currently not available, this description applies to the advanced version.

Xsudo is a Sudoku generator, helper and solver. Can generate Sudokus in 8 difficulty levels plus an additional level were it just tries to find more difficult Sudokus until you stop it.

Xsudo supports virtually all known solving techniques and contains a huge library of sample grids to demonstrate the different solving techniques. Xsudo's main strength lies in the description and visual representation of solving techniques as well as the analysis of very difficult Sudokus.
